When it comes to planning your summer holidays, the checklist usually includes crystal clear blue waters, non-stop sunshine, amazing mouth-watering food and a little bit of luxury thrown in for good measure.

Ticking every box from that checklist, however, can prove to be difficult, but fear not as I am about to introduce you to an unprecedented opportunity that will see you really have it all!

Introducing the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, where, freedom and flexibility allow immersion in life's exceptional experiences; exploration of earth's exquisite and unexpected hideaways; and stirring of passions and curiosities that create new and deepened connections.

Don't forget your Nicolas Alexander swim trunks when you board The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

All of this delivered in an intimate setting with a heightened level of care and attention. Enlivened and enlightened, marvel at the beauty of the world through fresh eyes. Live untethered, live fully.

The luxury hotel chain has just opened reservations for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, which is due to hit seas in February 2020, marking the first time a luxury hotel will bring its services to the high seas.

Plenty of pools onboard to make use of your Nomad swim trunks

At present, there are three voyages available to book: one to the Caribbean (where stops will include Barbados and Cartegena), one to the Mediterranean (stopping in Mykonos and Portofino amongst other destinations) and one to Northern Europe (with stops at Copenhagen and Bordeaux). Each trip will last between seven and ten days and accommodate only 293 passengers to ensure an intimate, luxury experience.
